The fisherman's cabin.

In Quebec, rivers transform their winter surface into an impassable white shell. It is then that the small wooden huts appear, singular and mobile constructions, havens of peace of the lonely fisherman.
Only a hole of light will make the connection between the life below and the life above.
The fisherman's cabin is also memory of the "drave", a recently disappeared profession, fruitful but perilous, productive but harmful.
The pitouns descended from the forests had all winter to dilute in the river their harmful acidity and become winter following, the cabin of a fisherman waiting for a solitary fish to pass in front of the hole of light.
